Killara is a suburb in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, and West Killara is a locality within the Killara neighbourhood. Killara is situated on the Upper North Shore of Sydney. It can be found in the Ku-ring-gai Council local government region, which is 14 kilometres to the north-west of the Central Business District in Sydney.

West Killara is bounded to the north and east by Lady Game Drive, to the south-east by Fiddens Wharf Road, to the south and west by the Lane Cove River and Lane Cove National Park, and to the south-west by Fiddens Wharf Road.

While Moore Avenue in Lindfield is close by, West Killara does not have any retail outlets of its own. There is a bus that will take you to the train station in Lindfield.
