The Westlink M7 and M2 Hills Motorways, which are located to the south and east of the area, respectively, provide convenient access to the neighbourhood by automobile.
The Ponds are serviced by Bus Busways, which also provides transportation to Blacktown (734, 752), Rouse Hill (752), Schofields, and Riverstone (734).
Residents can take the Hillsbus to Parramatta (T63, T65, or T66), the City (607X, 617X, or 616/616X), or the Busways to Bella Vista station (745) or Rouse Hill station to get to Kellyville Ridge, Stanhope Gardens, or Rouse Hill Town Centre. Alternatively, they can take the Busways to Bella Vista station (745) or Rouse Hill station (731).
Rail Tallawong, located on the North West Rail Line, is the station that is located the furthest away from The Ponds. This station provides service every four minutes to Norwest Business Park, Castle Hill, Macquarie Park, and Chatswood, in addition to linking Sydney Trains services to the Sydney Central Business District. The 26th of May, 2019, marked the introduction of the line officially.
