Sydney Olympic Park Taxi Maxi, The western region of Sydney is home to the enormous sports and entertainment complex known as Sydney Olympic Park. Even while the area’s official name is Sydney Olympic Park and most people just refer to it as Olympic Park, it is also a recognised suburb of Greater Sydney. Sydney Olympic Park is located around 15 kilometres to the west of Sydney’s central business district and is managed by the City of Parramatta Council.

The music events known as “Great Escape” and “Acoustica at the Armory,” both of which took place over the course of the Easter holiday weekend, had previously been held in the Newington Armory. These two occasions have subsequently ceased to exist. The venue formerly known as the Sydney Superdome is now called the Allphones Arena, and the Olympic Stadium has been renamed the ANZ Stadium, following in the footsteps of its former sponsor Telstra. The baseball stadium that was used for the 2000 Olympics has since been renamed the Sydney Showground. The stadium hosted 49 major sporting events in 2007 and the arena was the second-highest grossing venue of its kind in the world in 2005, trailing only Madison Square Garden in New York City as the most lucrative venue of its kind worldwide. The latter two venues are now very successful in their own right.
A burial service for the Lin family was held at Sydney Olympic Park on August 8, 2009. The sole surviving member of the family, Brenda Lin, attended the service.
