Surry Hills is an inner-city Sydney neighbourhood in the Australian state of New South Wales. Surry Hills is located in the City of Sydney’s local government area, immediately to the south-east of Sydney’s financial district. Surry Hills surrounds the neighbourhoods of Moore Park, Paddington, Chippendale, and Redfern. Chippendale is to the west, Haymarket is to the west, and Darlinghurst is to the east.

Its limits are Cleveland Street to the south, South Dowling Street to the east, and Oxford Street to the north. From its western and southern limits, Elizabeth Street and Chalmers Street Central is a neighbourhood northwest of the area surrounding Central Station. A park called Prince Alfred Park is nearby. Strawberry Hills is located to the east of Brickfield Hill, and the area between Cleveland and Elizabeth Streets is known as Strawberry Hills.
