Pendle Hill Taxi Maxi, The Australian state of New South Wales contains Pendle Hill as a suburb of Sydney. Pendle Hill is a locality in the Cumberland Council and City of Parramatta local government areas and is a part of Greater Western Sydney. It is situated 30 kilometres west of Sydney’s CBD.
George Bond (1876–1950), an American who immigrated to Australia in 1909, established a cotton spinning plant nearby in 1923. The corporation held cotton farms in Queensland, and it was Australia’s first attempt to spin and weave cotton from those farms. Pendle Hill is a hill that is located in the heart of the Lancashire cotton industry. Lancashire was the centre of the cotton industry in England. The town’s name most likely came from here. (Use of Reference) George Bond started out by importing hosiery and underwear before starting a hosiery factory in Redfern during World War I. By 1925, he was producing a fourth of all the knitted garments and hosiery in Australia. The year 1927 saw Bond Industries Limited go public.
On April 12, 1924, the Pendle Hill railroad station was inaugurated. The first post office and the first government school were inaugurated by Postmaster Sqn Lt[Rtd] Richard R. Purdie M.B.E. and his wife Elsie in 1956 and 1955, respectively. These old Pendle Hill pioneers gave their names to the adjoining “Purdie Lane.”
In Pendle Hill, there is a sizable retail centre with more than 50 specialty stores just next to the train station. Numerous supermarkets, discount shops, grocery stores, specialty shops, real estate agents, banks, cafes, seafood markets, and butchers may be found there.

The North Shore, Northern & Western Line is a part of the Sydney Trains network at Pendle Hill station.

Pendle Hill’s property values are on line with those of the majority of suburbs in the Parramatta area. Developers have recently purchased a number of older properties to build apartment complexes and flats. This is particularly common close to the train station. There are a few houses in the neighbourhood around the station.
