Naremburn is a suburb in New South Wales, Australia, on the northern outskirts of the city of Sydney. Located in the Willoughby City council area, 6 km north of Sydney’s CBD is where you’ll find Naremburn.
It is unknown where the suburb got its name, but it dates back to the 19th century. Naremburn was formerly known as Central Township. Early land grants in the area were given to Humphrey Evans and Peter Dargan in 1794.
Beginning on March 20, 1882, customers could visit the Naremburn Post Office until it closed in 1996.
