Lilyfield is a Sydney suburb in the Inner West of the Australian state of New South Wales. Lilyfield is located in the local government area of the Inner West Council, 6 kilometres to the west of Sydney’s financial district.

Lilyfield is hidden between the suburbs of Annandale, Rozelle, and Leichhardt and is flanked to the west by Iron Cove. Like many inner-city suburbs, Lilyfield was formerly a working-class area, but things are rapidly changing. Due to the area’s proximity to Sydney’s CBD, many of the original workers’ cottages have been purchased by real estate investors for renovation or development. Despite being primarily middle class, the area, like its adjacent suburbs, is home to people from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.It still has some origins among the working class.
