Lane Cove North TAXI MAXI CAB SERVICES SYDNEY

A suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, Lane Cove North is found on the Lower North Shore. Area known as “Lane Cove North” is found within the municipal boundaries of the Municipality of Lane Cove and the City of Willoughby, 11 kilometres north-west of Sydney’s central business district. Separate from each other, Lane Cove and Lane Cove West make up two different neighbourhoods in Sydney.
Towards the north is the Chatswood Golf Course, to the east is the Pacific Highway, to the south is Epping Road, to the west is the Lane Cove River, and to the south is the Lane Cove National Park. The Municipality is bounded on one side by Mowbray Road.
During World War II, a house grant helped build the community of Lane Cove.
Independent Lane Cove North was proclaimed on January 20, 2006.
While construction was underway on the Lane Cove Tunnel in 2005, a section of a nearby apartment building collapsed into the excavation, trapping a pet bird inside. An international media spotlight shone momentarily on the tragedy. There has been a lot of work put into revitalising the area.
