Kings Park is a Sydney suburb situated in the Australian state of New South Wales. Kings Park is a local government area in Blacktown and part of Greater Western Sydney. It is located forty kilometres west of the Sydney central business centre.
Kings Park is bounded by Richmond Railway Line to the west, Westlink M7 to the north, Sunnyholt Road to the east, and Breakfast Creek to the south. The northern half of the suburb is comprised of modern single-family homes, while the southern half is industrial. Schools and commercial centres are available in the neighbouring towns of Marayong, Blacktown, and Kings Langley, but not in Kings Park. In the northern side of the suburb, near the Marayong train station and the Faulkland Crescent Reserve, the St. Andrews Church and the Blacktown Indoor Sports centre are the most notable features.
There are three distinct Christian church traditions in the suburb: Catholic, Brethren, and Pentecostal. There is a Sikh temple nearby, as well as a Hindu temple in the area.
The neighbourhood is served by the Blacktown-Parklea branch of the North-West T-way and the Marayong railway station on the Richmond railway line.
Marayong was home to 3,266 people as of the 2006 Census. The median weekly household income was $1327, and the median monthly mortgage payment was $1733. The majority of homes were purchased (52%) as opposed to being owned outright (27%) or rented (18%), both of which were below average. There were also many childbearing couples (54%) present.
