In the Australian state of New South Wales, in the city of Blacktown, there is a place called Huntingwood that is mostly made up of factories. It is in Western Sydney.
The name comes from the location of the “Woods Estate,” which has been owned by the Woods family for a hundred years, and the claim that this is where the first hunting in the English style took place.
The nearby suburbs are close to the M4 and the Westlink M7. Companies like Coles Myer and Woolworths Limited have transportation and logistics complexes along Great Western Highway between Wallgrove Road and Reservoir Road. This is possible because the M4 is close to Sydney’s main road network.

The neighbourhood is managed as part of the Eastern Creek Area, along with Arndell Park. Because of this, most demographic and statistical information is not easy to find for this area alone.
In 2014, Diageo moved the bottling of Queensland’s Bundaberg Rum from the city with the same name to the western Sydney suburb of Huntingwood. This meant that jobs were lost in the city with the same name.
A Diageo representative later said that Bundaberg would still be the place where the Master Distillers Collection and other high-end products are bottled. We didn’t make this choice easily, but it was the only way to make sure the distillery would be around for a long time. As we have for the past 125 years, we will continue to invest in and focus on our core business of distilling, ageing, and blending high-quality rum in Bundaberg. We love Bundaberg and the distillery with all our hearts.
