The Australian state of New South Wales is where the neighborhood of Eastern Creek is. Eastern Creek is 35 km west of the Sydney CBD. It is in the Blacktown local government area and the Greater Western Sydney region.

Western Sydney International Dragway, Sydney Motorsport Park (formerly known as Eastern Creek Raceway), and the old location of Wonderland Sydney amusement park are all located in Eastern Creek, which is west of the Prospect Reservoir.

The name of the suburb derives from the fact that the eastern fork of South Creek adopted the name, Eastern Creek. The settlement, which was then called Eastern Creek, grew where the road crossed the creek.

There are a lot of industrial complexes in the Eastern Creek area, and Arndell Park and Huntingwood, two nearby suburbs, are often included when people talk about the “Eastern Creek Area.” Because of this, most demographic and statistical information is not easily available for this area alone. A substantial portion of the suburb is also occupied by the Eastern Creek Waste and Recycling Center.

On March 8 and 9, 2014, the Top Gear Festival and V8 Supercars races were held at Sydney Motorsport Park. The Western Sydney International Dragway is right next to it.

Between 1985 and 2004, Wonderland Sydney was a big park with rides and other fun things to do. Interchange Park, a business park, is presently located in Wonderland.

The Western Sydney Parklands are located to the west of the area. The Prospect Nature Reserve, which has places to play, is to the east of the area.
