Dundas is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, located in the Northern Suburbs District. Dundas is located 21 kilometres northwest of Sydney in the local government area of the City of Parramatta and the electoral division of Bennelong. Dundas is a beautiful green suburb, thanks in great part to its centrepiece, The Ponds Walk, which follows the Ponds Subiaco Creek.

The name “The Ponds,” which can still be found in The Ponds Creek, was originally used to designate Dundas and the surrounding area. In 1791, the first private land concessions in Sydney were made in what is now North East Dundas and the neighbouring areas of Dundas Valley and Ermington.
The name Dundas was originally used in the region in 1799 to honour the Dundas family of Scotland. Over 100 localities, mostly in the old British Empire, bear their names.

The Carlingford line of the Sydney Trains system includes the Dundas railway station. The station is located on Station Street, which has a pathway that goes to Kissing Point Road. The 545, which runs from Parramatta to Chatswood via Kissing Point Road, the 521, which runs from Parramatta to Eastwood via Park Road, and the 550, which runs from Chatswood to Parramatta via Kissing Point Road are all State Transit routes that run through Dundas.
