The locality known as Bundeena may be found in the territory of New South Wales, to the south of the city of Sydney in Australia. Bundeena is a suburb that is included in the jurisdiction of the Sutherland Shire council. It is situated 29 kilometres to the south of the Central Business District in Sydney.

Bundeena is situated on the southwestern side of Port Hacking, directly opposite Cronulla and Burraneer, and is in close proximity to the unincorporated community of Maianbar. The Royal National Park surrounds the town on all sides.

In the vicinity of Bundeena, visitors can choose from a number of beaches to spend the day at, including Jibbon Beach, Gunyah Beach, Horderns Beach, and Bonnie Vale Beach. The quaint community of Maianbar can be found in the space between Bundeena and “The Basin,” as well as Cabbage Tree Creek. A route that is not paved and a footbridge are what bind the two communities together. You won’t find many campgrounds within the Royal National Park itself, but there is one in the general vicinity of Bonnie Vale.
