The neighbourhood of Barden Ridge can be found in the southwestern part of the city of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales in Australia. Within the Sutherland Shire, which is located 29 kilometres south of Sydney’s central business district, is where you’ll find Barden Ridge. The Georges River and the Woronora River come together not far to the north of Barden Ridge. When travelling west from Helensburgh, one of the earliest routes terminated in a body of water known as “The Needles,” which may be found on the Woronora River. The fresh water source for the Woronora River can be found on the northern side of the ria, while the mouth of the river, where salt water is discharged, can be found on the southern side. Even in the middle of July, the water in this hidden valley between two steep peaks is known to be so frigid that it has been associated with a higher risk of heart attacks. In most instances, access for motor vehicles has been limited, although pedestrians are still permitted to enter the area. Mountain biking and hiking are only a couple of the outdoor activities that attract people to this part of the country.
